Several years ago, I found myself navigating the joys and challenges of single parenthood, with one particular Christmas tradition proving to be a bit more challenging than anticipated. My daughter, brimming with excitement at the prospect of meeting Santa, would inevitably dissolve into tears the moment she came face-to-face with the jolly man in red. Witnessing her disappointment was truly heart-wrenching, sparking a determination within me to create a more magical and comforting Santa experience for her.
Finding My Very Own Santa
Thus began my quest to find “my very own Santa,” a journey that unexpectedly led me to cross paths with Jake, who obviously became a permanent partner in life and business. Our first Santa Party, held back in 2013, marked the beginning of a heartwarming tradition that continues to bring joy to families each holiday season. Though we took a brief hiatus for personal reasons, we resumed hosting Santa Sessions annually in 2015, and it’s been an absolute delight to welcome back familiar faces year after year.
Whether portrayed by my dad or Jake, our Santa has become a beloved figure in the lives of many children, fostering a sense of excitement and wonder that extends far beyond mere holiday festivities. The joy on their faces when Santa remembers them from previous years is simply priceless, and the occasional recognition of the man behind the beard only adds to the charm of the experience.
2024 Santa Experience at Brix on Main
This year, we’re thrilled to announce that our Annual Santa Sessions will be held at the enchanting Brix on Main in Buckley. With its ADA accessibility and ample free parking, it’s the perfect setting for creating magical memories that will last a lifetime. We’re extending our sessions this year, giving families a full 25 minutes to capture precious moments with Santa. Starting with family photos, we’ll eagerly await Santa’s arrival, capturing the pure delight and wonder on your children’s faces as he makes his grand entrance.
Once Santa is settled in, the kids will take the lead, whether it’s sharing their Christmas wishes, playing a game, or simply enjoying some quality time with the man of the hour. From sharing cookies to swapping stories, every moment promises to be filled with laughter and warmth. We encourage you to allow your children the opportunity to bring their favorite book, toy or stuffed animal along for the experience. These items will be useful in holding their attention and interacting with Santa.
The Tradition Continues
Join us for the Santa Experience at Brix on Main on Sunday, November 24rd, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm. Your session fee of $250* (tax included) includes a 25-minute session, a full gallery of digital images (approximately 25-30 images), digital downloads, personal use rights, and a $50 product credit for cards or prints.
*$100 retainer + signed contract is required to book your session. The remaining balance is due 3 days prior to your session.
