The Forum Engagement Session | Cori & Stephen
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. I LOVE this bar. Choosing the Forum was a perfect option for Cori and Stephen. Both a bit nervous about having their photo taken, this was the ultimate warm up to their three part engagement.
Loosen up with a drink
Just don’t get drunk. No one needs a total meltdown mid engagement session. But I’m totally condoning grabbing your favorite libations to start out your session. The Forum is the perfect spot for this too. Their bartenders know how to mix the best drinks, though I highly suggest avoiding the mojitos… Either I’m a lightweight or they’re a little strong. Lol.
Cori and Stephen grabbed their favorite drinks to help them loosen up in front of the camera. It also gave us a chance to sit and talk a minute since we hadn’t had much time to chat prior to their engagement session.
Want to play a game?
This isn’t a version of Saw, I promise! The Forum boasts a large selection of games for you to borrow while you sip those delicious drinks. Whether you love a good competitive game of naughty jenga, or prefer something more gentle, like cribbage, there’s something for everyone. Plus they make great props for your engagement photos.
While the naughty jenga was the first game we grabbed, it wasn’t exactly appropriate for their engagement session. So we settled for the Nightmare Before Christmas version instead.
The Forum Engagement Lighting
One thing you may notice is the lighting in the back of the bar tends to be a little dark. While this may not seem perfect for your engagement session, it actually adds a little extra mood to the photos. Besides, who would want everyone staring at them while they canoodle in a corner? Joking! Sorta.
Before leaving The Forum, we moved to a table in the front. Gargantuan windows allowed the beautiful fall lighting to flow into the bar, giving their Forum engagement session a variety of looks. Plus we couldn’t resist moving outside to snag a photo of the huge red letter marquee.
I’m thrilled that Cori and Stephen chose this location for their engagement session because it really reflects who they are as a couple. A little classic with a bit of fun silliness thrown in. Their August Wedding was an absolute blast. Check it out here!
