After years of driving past this quaint venue, I FINALLY got the opportunity to tour it… and then the crazy season hit, I found out I was pregnant and my blog got pushed to the wayside. Oiy. So I’m catching up and blogging this beautiful space today!
Just off the beaten path
If you’ve ever passed through the tiny town of Buckley, you may never know that the Five2Five existed. Only a few turns off the main highway brings you to this romantic wedding venue, where you can make your dreams come true.
All Weather Venue
One of the biggest selling points in Washington, is when a romantic wedding venue can offer both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies and receptions. Use the incredible fireplace backdrop for your Februray wedding ceremony, and stow away upstairs to sign your marriage license while you wait for the venue to be swapped for your reception. For a summer wedding, consider the outdoor ceremony spaces (there are a ton of options here!) and allow your guests to beat the heat under the large permanent tent. The options are really endless here!

Nestled in the picturesque foothills of Buckley, WA, The Five2Five is a beautiful year-round Wedding & Event Venue. Our intimate yet grand setting offers unique charm and refined rustic style, with a true Pacific Northwest vibe. We designed the indoor and outdoor spaces with character and versatility so you can bring your vision to life. Our team takes the boutique service approach and will support you each step of the way with genuine care, resources and recommendations to create an effortless and unforgettable celebration. What made you dream of opening a wedding venue?
Lisa Quam – Owner
Lisa’s wedding industry journey began when she & her daughter started a decor rental business in 2016. Over time, her dream of owning a venue came to fruition when she stumbled upon the perfect property which would become The Five2Five. As a former Boeing Systems Analyst, she values detail and processes. She also has a knack for gardening & you can often find her caring for the venue’s floral and landscape. Lisa truly loves bringing friends and family together in celebration at The Five2Five!
Courtney Lewis – Manager
Managing The Five2Five allows Courtney to combine her passion for helping others with her affinity for logistics. She holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and honed her skills in business operations at Boeing and community advocacy at the YMCA. She is responsive & resourceful and genuinely loves learning your story. One of her favorite things about the wedding industry is the opportunity to build community among our clients, family, friends and vendor partners.

What do you enjoy most about being a venue owner and weddings in particular?
We are so blessed to be a part of these amazing couples’ love stories. We consider our clients part of the Five2Five family, and we really mean that. We love when our couples continue to come back to The Five2Five for our community events such as Santa Photos or our Open House events. It is not uncommon for one family to come back for multiple types of celebrations at our venue.
Do you have a favorite story from a wedding or working with a bride/couple?
It’s so difficult to choose just one!
There is one couple – Neil & Nicole – whom we are reminded of often because we have some of the wooden benches they constructed. This particular bride had a vision of all wooden tables and benches for her winter wedding. Her fiance and her dad spent countless hours constructing and staining (10) 10ft benches and 40 benches. The end result was absolutely stunning. The couple was kind enough to let us keep two sets after their wedding. They truly look like they were made for the space. We have plans to celebrate their first baby’s 2nd birthday at the venue next summer. Also, some of our favorite family photos from our annual Santa photos (a philanthropy event) are of this particular family because they brought their whole family dressed in holiday spirit last winter. It is so much fun when we get to really know these wonderful families.
What is one question you always ask during an initial consultation?
When you picture your wedding day, what is most important to you?
How do you want your guests to feel on your wedding day?
If you could give couples only one piece of advice for their wedding, what would it be?
Focus on the big things that matter most to you and try your best to go with the flow during these current crazy times. Flexibility is the key. Wedding planning doesn’t have to be stressful. As long as you stay true to what you want and you choose vendors you trust, everything will turn out just as its meant to be.
What is the best course of action for couples to take when trying to choose a wedding venue?
When our couples get butterflies in their stomach or they get teary eyed during a venue tour, THAT is how they should feel when they know they have found the right venue. They should not settle when it comes to the setting for one of the most important days of their lives. No venue is one size fits all, so it’s important that our couples can picture themselves and their loved ones at The Five2Five.

The Five2Five is available 365 days each year to host weddings and special events. All event rentals include tables and chairs, along with setup/teardown service.
Without COVID restrictions, we can accommodate up to 175 guests year-round in our beautiful indoor hall; 300 guests when using our seasonal tent and expansive lawn.
