Tara + Troy’s Engagement Session

This year has been full of sessions that almost didn’t happen. From bee stings to cows that refuse to get in their trailers, it’s been a wild ride fitting in all the engagement and family sessions. But this one almost didn’t happen for another, more typical reason: Troy didn’t want his photo taken.

For most grooms, the idea of getting in front of the camera more than once can be uncomfortable to say the least. It’s quite common that I hear “it’s not necessary” but I can almost always talk someone into giving me 15 minutes. Troy wasn’t convinced with my few minutes speech though, and it wasn’t until Jake found common ground with Troy that he changed his mind.

It was worth it. Tara’s car, their cute pup, and the whole thing lasted about 15 minutes (which I’m sure Troy was excited about). With these two together, it was easy to see how much he loves her. After all, he posed for photos without complaining… except maybe once. 😉
