Point Defiance Park Engagement | Megan + Don

Megan and I had a ton of contact via messenger prior to their Point Defiance Park engagement session, and you’d better believe I fell for her personality right away. Sometimes it’s easy to tell when you’re just going to click with someone. And click we did!
Megan is simply beautiful inside and out. Her kindness showed numerous times as we tried to schedule, and reschedule, their engagement session due to various circumstances beyond anyone’s control. When we discussed kids and scheduling conflicts, it became even more apparent just how wonderful she is when she invited my kids and husband to join us at the park the day of their engagement session. While that wasn’t necessary (they were having some party of their own without mom. Probably causing trouble none the less), it warmed my heart to know how much she understood.
While I didn’t meet Don until their engagement, I had heard so many great things about him. Between his hunting and outdoor activities, he would get along great with my own husband. These two make such a sweet couple, they really balance each other. Don wasn’t completely sold on the idea of engagement photos, but they were important to Megan, so he did it anyway. By the end of the session, these two were playing around, laughing and having a good time. Don admitted at the end of the session that it “wasn’t as painful” as he’d imagined. Engagement sessions are magic ya’ll. Pure magic.
I’m so excited for their Brookstom Creek Wedding and cannot wait to see where the rest of their lives take them. The magic they created during their engagement session makes me giddy just waiting to see all of their planning come together for their wedding.
