Pacific Northwest Romance Session with Steamy Sunset Views

While I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest almost my entire life, I’ve only been to West Seattle once: for this beautiful Salty’s On Alki Wedding. So when Dawn suggested Lincoln Park for her Pacific Northwest Romance Session, we jumped at the chance to explore. Upon arriving at Lincoln Park, we could smell the ocean beyond the beautiful grove of forestry. We knew we wanted the beachy vibes, so we didn’t roam through the upper park levels, but headed straight down to the lower portion of the park.

Even with the tide way up (because I didn’t think to check what the tide schedule was, oops!) there were small stretches of beach that provided exactly what we needed. One direction showcased Vashon Island and the ferry across, while the other lead the eye up toward Bainbridge and the gorgeous sunset over the Puget Sound. Beautiful driftwood shelters left by other visitors, tall grasses and flat rocky areas gave us the tools we needed to showcase this beautiful couple.

Dawn and Jaime are simply adorable together. Their playful demeanors complimented one another and the connection these two have is beautiful. After many twists and turns in this game called life, they’ve managed to find one another and build on a friendship of many years. Dawn has been a wonderful friend and stylist, and we’re truly ecstatic that she’s found someone who cherishes her as much as we do. We look forward to having the honor of photographing them many times in the future (wink wink).
