Mr. + Mrs. Campbell’s Craven Farm Wedding
A Craven Farm Wedding with Adventure, 80s Music, and a National Park Twist
To say I was excited for this Craven Farm wedding would be a massive understatement and if you’ve ever seen me the morning before a wedding with two cups of coffee in hand and my camera batteries already double-checked, you know that’s saying something. This one was a full-circle moment for a few reasons.
Back in mid-2021, I toured Craven Farm as part of our Della Terra Vendor Feature (yep, that dreamy fall day is still fresh in my mind!). Fast forward to 2023, and we were chosen as the featured photographers for the Snohomish Wedding Tour an honor that still makes me do a little happy dance when I think about it. That’s where we met Amie + Ian.
Well… technically they came to the tour on the advice of Kimi (Craven’s fabulous owner) just to meet us and see the venue in action. I mean, could we feel more flattered? But even that wasn’t the part that had me fired up with excitement for their wedding day.
Nope. The real spark came during their engagement session when they told us how they planned to incorporate the story of the night they met into their Craven Farm wedding. And let me tell you this wedding did not disappoint. It was nostalgic, heartfelt, and straight-up FUN from start to finish.

Adventure Awaits
Amie + Ian are the kind of couple who live for adventure. Their story started on a hike just outside Seattle, followed by a wild night at a NiteWave concert. (If you’re not familiar with NiteWave they’re the ultimate 80s cover band: neon lights and synth-filled dance vibes included).
According to Ian, he didn’t even recognize Amie when she showed up at the concert, apparently hiking gear and party outfits don’t exactly match (but hey, at least she swapped the boots for something sparkly). From boots to beats, their relationship was off to an unforgettable start.
So, of course, when it came time to say “I do” at their Craven Farm wedding, they chose the gorgeous side gardens by the Harvest Barn. The natural greenery wrapped perfectly around their minimalist florals and ceremony arch was simple, elegant, and oh-so-them.
Amie made her grand entrance through the double barn doors, and if I’m being honest, it gave total storybook vibes. Like, cue the dramatic music and slow-motion walk it was that good. Princess-worthy for sure.
National Park Tribute
After a tear-filled ceremony (yes, I cried. Don’t judge me), guests headed to the Pole Barn where they were greeted by a custom National Park sign featuring their new last name. Cue all the happy tears again. It was such a sweet nod to the outdoorsy roots of their relationship and the kind of detail that feels personal and unforgettable.
The cocktail hour? Total hit with bruschetta, fresh fruit and veggie platters, and a bar stocked with PNW faves. I don’t know if I was more excited about the classic snackish spread or the cozy campfire vibes happening between guests as they mingled.
The toasts rolled in next, filled with just the right mix of belly laughs and heartfelt moments. You could tell every single person in that room was genuinely thrilled to be witnessing this chapter of Amie + Ian’s love story.

A Night of NiteWave + Red Balloons
Then the party really kicked in when NiteWave came sliding into the scene. Yes, the same 80s cover band from their very first meeting. And honestly? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a dance floor erupt faster.
From red balloons bouncing overhead to guests belting out 80s rock ballads like it was 1989, this crowd knew how to party. People danced like no one was watching (but don’t worry we were, and we got the best photos), and I swear the energy in that barn could’ve powered a small city.
Eventually, it was time for the send-off—and true to their style, Amie + Ian ran through a tunnel of sparkling lights, grinning ear to ear, straight into their next big adventure as Mr. + Mrs. Campbell.
Craven Farm Wedding Perfection
There’s something magical about a Craven Farm wedding. Maybe it’s the sweeping views, the historic barns, or the fact that the property manages to feel both rustic and wildly romantic all at once. But when you mix that with a couple like Amie + Ian, who are equal parts adventurous and sentimental, you get something really special.
This day wasn’t just about pretty flowers or a killer dance floor (although both were fantastic). It was about storytelling. It was about honoring the journey that brought them together. And as a documentary wedding photographer, that’s exactly the kind of wedding that makes my heart sing.
So if you’re dreaming of your own Craven Farm wedding filled with personal details, epic love stories, and maybe even a few throwback hits, I’m your girl. Let’s make it magical together.
Congratulations!
Amie + Ian, it was an honor celebrating your wedding day with you. We can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you. Stay wild, friends.
