Mr. + Mrs. Campbell’s Craven Farm Wedding

To say I was excited for this wedding would be an understatement for a few reasons. First, I’d toured Craven farm in Mid-2021 as a part of our Della Terra Vendor Feature and we were asked in 2023 to be the featured photographer at the Snohomish Wedding Tour. Second, at that tour we were introduced to Amie + Ian, who’d attended the tour at the advice of Kimi (Craven’s owner) simply to meet us and see the venue in action. But neither of those reasons were the real fuel to my fire, because when we started chatting with Amie + Ian at their engagement, they told us how they were incorporating the night they met into their wedding day. And boy, did their Craven Farm Wedding really exceed expectations.

Adventure Awaits

Amie + Ian are pretty adventurous people and they first met on a hike outside Seattle then the NiteWave Concert that evening. As Ian tells the story, he admits to not being able to recognize Amie when she arrived at the concert because she’d ditched her hiking attire. After all, a beanie and hiking boots don’t exactly scream 80s Cover Band (the sunglasses might have still been useful!). It still worked out because here we are, celebrating the marriage of these two wonderful people.

Craven farm features several ceremony spaces, and they chose the side gardens next to the Harvest barn for its natural beauty. The surrounding foliage tied in beautifully with their minimal floral arrangements along the aisle and their ceremony arch. This setup also offered an incredible way for Amie to enter the ceremony, through the double doors of the barn. It was an entrance worthy of a princess.

National Park Tribute

After their beautiful ceremony, guests were welcomed to the Pole Barn with an incredible National Park sign featuring their last name. I loved the nod to where they met, and the sign is going to make a wonderful addition to their home. Their cocktail hour included delicious bruschetta, fruit and veggies along with an awesome bar variety featuring some PNW specialities. Toasts, dinner and mingling all led to the real party… when NiteWave started up the tunes!

This crowd knew how to party, from red balloons to rock-n-roll all night. The dance floor never cleared and if the time for Amie + Ian’s official exit hadn’t arrived, I doubt the party would have stopped. But alas, eventually it became time for their exit and surrounded by beautifully sparklers, they ran off into the sunset as Mr. + Mrs. Campbell.

Congratulations!

Amie + Ian, it was an honor celebrating your wedding day with you. We can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you. Stay wild, friends.
