Mountain Views for the I Dos | Kaitlin + Aaron
Whenever we watch Star Wars, we’re always hoping that Princess Leia ends up with Han Solo, even if we’ve seen the ending a million times. Furthermore, we’re always disappointed that more recent movies have them broken up (though this explanation by Carrie Fischer is HILARIOUS). Lucky for Kaitlin and Aaron, they’ll handle the schwartz just fine and end up living happily ever after like Princess Vespa and Lone Star. If all these references are over your helmet, scroll down for the pretty mountain view photos and ignore my ramblings.
Katilin and Aaron are two of the sweetest people. From the get go, I was enamored by their wedding plans. Yet, kismet had other plans for the two of them to marry. Circumstances lead them to the beautiful mountain views at Blue Sky Ranch in Index, with their closest family and friends together from different sides of the country.
There’s something to be said about the meaningful details a couple chooses to showcase on their wedding day. Kaitlin and Aaron showcased their details in small ways: T-Rex skeleton cuff links and shavings from a T-Rex bone were embedded into Aaron’s wedding band. (Their first date was at the Museum of Natural History.) All of their drinks were Star Wars themed, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of these ended up on drink menus at Disneyland. The simple, but incredibly meaningful Schwartz ring that became their cake topper had me giggling as I silently recounted Spaceballz quotes in my head.
I think the most meaningful thing about their wedding day was the venue they chose to get married at. Blue Sky Ranch was their first weekend away as a couple. They stayed in the A-frame cabin where we chose to have their first look take place. Down below, where we did their couple’s portraits, is where Aaron popped the question and Kailtin said yes! This wedding stole my geek-infused heart with all the sweet romantic moments. There truly couldn’t have been a more perfect way to tie the knot for these two.
Kaitlin and Aaron will have many fabulous adventures together, but fingers cross the years don’t go at ludacris speed. Scroll for more of this beautiful mountain wedding. May the schwartz be with you.
