Tibbetts Manor Wedding | Issaquah Wedding Photographer

Returning to Tibbetts Manor as an Issaquah Wedding Photographer

Eleven years ago, I was knee-deep in planning my own wedding, flipping through venues, Pinterest boards, and way too many checklists. One of the dreamy spots on my list? Tibbetts Manor. But as luck would have it, my dream date wasn’t available, and I had to move on. Fast forward to today, and guess what? I finally made it back to Tibbetts Manor—not as a bride, but as an Issaquah wedding photographer capturing love stories just like mine. Talk about a full-circle moment!

Issaquah Wedding Photographer

While Tibbetts Manor is no longer an active wedding venue, its charm and history still linger in my heart. The couple leaned into its classic elegance with simple yet stunning touches—mason jars wrapped in burlap and twine, delicate baby’s breath arrangements, and soft, romantic uplighting courtesy of their DJ. Even though future couples won’t be able to say “I do” here, it remains a beautiful reminder of the timeless magic a venue can hold.

A Picture-Perfect Outdoor Ceremony (With a Little Weather Drama!)

As an Issaquah Wedding Photographer, we know the chance of rain on a wedding day is high. Even though Gabby and her fiancé had their hearts set on an outdoor ceremony, and Mother Nature almost had other plans. The sky threatened rain all morning, but just as guests started arriving, the clouds parted, and we got a perfectly timed break from the drizzle. Talk about wedding-day luck! Gabby made her grand entrance under the soft afternoon sun, walking toward the love of her life with the biggest smile ever.

The vows? Absolutely heart-melting. The kind that had guests (and maybe even me) wiping away happy tears. And as if on cue, the second they said, “I do,” and shared their first kiss, the sky let loose again. A little rain never hurt anyone, and honestly, it made for some of the most romantic wedding shots ever.

Capturing the Real Moments as an Issaquah Wedding Photographer

One thing I always tell my couples? Your wedding photos should feel like you. No stiff, awkward poses—just real, joy-filled moments. Even though Tibbetts Manor has closed its doors to weddings, I’m always on the lookout for venues that offer that same timeless beauty and cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I’d highly recommend checking out other Issaquah area wedding venues like Trinity Tree Farm and Evergreen Meadows.

From the stolen glances during the ceremony to the way Gabby’s dress swirled as she danced the night away, every photo tells a piece of their story. My job as an Issaquah wedding photographer isn’t just snapping pretty pictures—it’s preserving the feeling of the day so couples can relive it for years to come.

Timeless Memories That Never Go Out of Style

With 14 years of experience behind the lens, I’ve seen wedding trends come and go, but one thing never changes—authentic, timeless photography will always be in style. My approach is all about capturing true-to-life colors, natural skin tones, and those fleeting moments you never want to forget. If you’re on the hunt for an Issaquah wedding photographer who will capture your love story with authenticity and heart, I’d love to connect! No matter where you choose to say “I do,” let’s create stunning, timeless memories together. Head over to Markie Jones Photography and let’s make some magic!

I was a second photographer for this wedding in 2017 with Sashem Photography.
