Happy Birthday | Gracie Turns 8

It’s honestly hard to believe that Gracie has been a part of our lives for the past 8 years. Watching her grow up is both a blessing and a curse. I’m still not sure how we got chosen to be her parents, but she’s consistently keeping us on our toes. 

Little Kid, Big Personality

This month we celebrated her birthday with a trip to the Washington State Fair and The Beach Boys concert. We were joined by several family members and had such a fun time. She loved being able to celebrate at the fairgrounds with all the sugar and sweets. 

This year we’re still homeschooling and she’s finally caught up to her friends in school. She’s working on a Third Grade curriculum and loves being able to learn to cook. She always asks to help me in the kitchen (usually when she’s trying to get out of doing homework, but still). 

Our Little Photographer

This year she helped photograph a few different sessions, (including an engagement!) and loves being behind the camera. Anytime we go places, she asks if I brought mine along and if she can use it. It’s been a blast seeing the world through her eyes. 

Gracie, I have no idea why we were chosen to be your parents but it’s been an amazing ride so far. If you weren’t here, the world would be a whole lot different (definitely not nearly as fun). We can’t wait to see where your fireball personality takes you. Happy 8th Birthday, girlfriend!
