Fox Island Engagement | Jessica + Greg
There’s been a lot of talk about the negative aspects of the last year’s lockdowns, but today we have a happy story for you! This Fox Island Engagement features a couple who found everything they wanted in each other… during Washington’s Covid 19 Lockdown.
Getting to know clients is always a joy and one of my favorite parts is learning how they met. Jessica and Greg met at work, which of course means one of them had to find a new job. But it all worked out and they moved in together shortly before the Covid Lockdown of 2020. This gave them the perfect opportunity to learn about every quirk the other person had. They fell more deeply in love and decided on forever.
Greg planned the perfect proposal: an intimate, secluded picnic. He sure knows how to make a girl feel like she is the only other person in the world. Of course, Jessica said yes!
Fox Island Engagement Session
The day of our session started out dreary. Usually, I’m not worried about the weather, but I’ll admit I was holding my breath a bit. Washington weather can be finicky in spring. Lucky for us, Heaven was watching that day and shortly before our session the sun came out. The beautiful glow added to the backdrop of Mount Rainier peeking through the distance. There is no way it was anything other than divine intervention.
Watching the two of them interact at their Fox Island Engagement made my heart sing. Greg cracked jokes while Jessica laughed. It was easy to see that these two were meant to be together. I feel so blessed to have met and gotten the opportunity to get to know them before their wedding day! It’s going to be an amazing day and I’m excited to share it with them!
