Jasmine + Corbin | A Floral Hall Wedding seeped in Vintage Vibes
There are weddings you dream to photograph, and this Snohomish Floral Hall Wedding was one of them. From the bride’s vintage inspired lace dress to the groom’s meticulously groomed mustache, this wedding made my heart sing. Lessie Blue Photography invited me along to share this wonderful day with her as her second shooter.
We started the day at the couple’s church in Everett. A sweet little trail out behind the church made for the perfect backdrop, and some creative angles added to the feeling of being secluded out there. Lessie and I had picked out the perfect spot for Corbin and Jasmine’s first look. As Corbin and I headed down the small trail, that thrill of excitement picked up. Nerves flared as the moments passed, and finally Lessie and Jasmine turned the corner at the end of the trail.
I love watching the Grooms as their bride’s come up behind them and they only have my reaction to go off. Unless they have super eyesight and can see their bride in my lens…. But that’s never been mentioned to me. Those last little moments before the groom turns to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day, are some of the most palpable; right along side the moment the bride’s father (or other special man) sees her or she walks down the aisle. The air moves in waves and everything slows down… think falling in love classic slow-motion movie style.
Jasmine and Corbin’s ceremony was beautiful, but their reception really takes the cake (or cakes in this case)! Between the gorgeous venue hidden up in the hills of Everett and their classic VW Baby Blue Beetle Getaway Car, the vintage vibes were all over this Snohomish Floral Hall Wedding.
It’s always a pleasure to work alongside Lessie, and this Floral Hall Wedding was an incredible experience to share with her!
