Floral Hall: A Wedding Photographer’s Review

Floral Hall at Forest Park. Magic in the hills of Everett.

Everett’s Floral Hall at Forest Park is one of those magical places that are super close by, but feel light years away. Nestled in the hills of Everett, Washington, this charming venue boasts beautiful greenery, a wishing well worthy of a Disney Princess and wagon wheel chandeliers. While the ceremony was photographed at another location, our journey to Floral Hall was magical in itself. We wound our way through the streets of old town Everett, and took a tree lined road up into the woodland park where the venue is nestled. If you didn’t know where you were going, this venue would be easy to miss as it’s set up high on a hill surrounded by trees and beautiful flowering bushes.
On your way to enter the venue, you pass a wishing well on your left. A great spot to make those first new wishes as a couple before heading into your party. And if you’re even a tiny bit Disney fanatic, you’ll make a wish at least once (or send your single bridesmaids out to wish for their princes). It will be tough for them to leave the inside of the venue though. The warm atmosphere welcomes you as you gaze upon a series of beautiful wagon wheel chandeliers. A giant fireplace graces the wall on your left, making this expansive room cozy, and the stage area in front of you gives the bride and groom a first class view of their guests. The round tables are far enough apart to walk through, but still keep everyone close enough for chatting, allowing the dance floor to be situated in front of the stage. If front and center isn’t your style, the open floor plan leaves endless opportunities for placement. The staircases on either side of the stage, allow guests and vendors to get higher vantage points without being in the way.
