Enumclaw Backyard Wedding | Madison & Sam
Over the years, backyard weddings have received a pretty crummy reputation for being cheap. But this Enumclaw backyard wedding shows us that you can still have the garden wedding of your dreams, while choosing a space that means the world to you. And let’s be realistic, it’s a thrill to know that not everyone gets the chance to use the location you’ve chosen.
An Exclusive Location
For Madison and Sam, a backyard wedding wasn’t about saving money (though that was a definite benefit) but rather about sharing a favorite place with their family and friends. Their aunt and uncle’s property was the perfect backdrop for this outdoorsy couple. A beautifully landscaped backyard meant they were able to simply bring in some various items to bring it all together and create a glamorous garden wedding wedding. While we’re already a little jealous, they definitely had a slight advantage. Their aunt and uncle have been wedding vendors in the past, both from a photography and planning aspect.
Picture Perfect Details
With an eye for details, their aunt took charge with the decorating. A few wine barrels made beautiful pedestals for the custom floral arrangements several family members worked on. Placing these at either end of the aisle added a touch of rustic flair. A custom built potting bench served as the perfect spot to arrange a popcorn bar for the guests to enjoy during photos. Taking careful considerations, they arranged white tents to cover the tables and dance floor. Even in August, Washington doesn’t miss out on it’s summer rainstorms. Thanks to the planning team, not even a sudden downpour stopped this party.
Dessert Bar Dreams
Many vendors agree, a highlight of every weddings is the cake; Madison and Sam’s backyard wedding was no exception! Not only did they choose a beautiful cake, but they surrounded it with a dessert bar that kept every kid (and kid at heart) happy. Large candy jars filled with M&Ms, gummy bears, and other goodies accompanied baggies to create your own mix. An incredible doughnut tower tempted every sweet tooth, even before the cake was cut. When you’re creating your own dessert bar, consider a little something for everyone (or stick to your favorites!).
