Creative Wedding Ceremony at Brookstom creek| Shannon & Charles
For many couples, COVID felt like a huge stumbling block when it came to planning their 2020 weddings. Mandate after mandate made heads spin as couples and vendors alike tried to keep up with all the new requirements. Shannon & Charles refused to let anything stand in their way, and came up with a creative wedding ceremony solution.
No Reception? No Problem.
When Shannon & Charles were faced with the ban on all receptions, its impossible to say that it wasn’t at least disheartening. No one wanted to miss out on those special moments, like the first dance or sharing of the cake, but with them being reception activities it was hard to imagine when they might do those. With some critical thinking, they were able to come up with this creative wedding ceremony that gave them everything they wanted while keeping all their guests and vendors safe.
A Creative Wedding Ceremony
The question arose: “Who decides what goes into a ceremony?” Shannon & Charles created their own ceremony, complete with all those parts that were most important to them. In the middle of their ceremony, they had their first dance at the alter while guests watched from their socially distanced seats. They toasted their new marriage and shared cake, all before the final “I dos”! It was a truly creative wedding ceremony and made their day 110% their own design!
While many parts of the wedding day were very typical, everything about their ceremony was incredibly unique. I would highly recommend couples who elope or find themselves needing an alternative to the usual wedding and reception do just as Shannon & Charles did. Go your own way, blaze a new trail and get creative with your wedding ceremony!
