Mari + Beau | Colorful Country Wedding at Brookstom Creek
Planning a colorful country wedding isn’t always a lengthy process. Mari and Beau contacted me through Brookstom Creek only two weeks before their big day! They were quickly planning their wedding at the gorgeous country venue, without skimping on any detail. The short time frame for planning, didn’t give us enough time to get to know each other. Walking into a wedding “blind” makes me nervous, but those nerves melted away when I was warmly greeted by Beau and his family upon our arrival.
Moving away from the traditional black tux, Beau looked dapper in a snazzy white tux with turquoise accents. His outgoing personality warmed my heart and his excitement to marry Mari was apparent from the moment we met. He excitedly waited for the moment when he would see her for the first time, as she walked down the aisle towards him.
Mari arrived shortly after we did, and headed to Angie & Bob’s RV to get ready for their colorful country wedding. With hair and makeup already done, she was ready to slip into her custom made gown from a designer in Mexico. The three piece gown featured incredibly detailed rose appliques in five different colors; purple, turquoise, blue, yellow and orange. This gown was compromised of a top that laced up both sides and a full ball gown style skirt that featured a detachable cathedral length train at the waist. This beautiful train allowed her to skip needing a bustle and simply remove the train for dancing the night away.
As we watched Mari turn the corner towards Beau, the crowd got to see the biggest smile stretch across his face. He grinned from ear to ear as his beautiful bride waltzed down the aisle towards him, being escorted by her mama. Brookstom Creek’s own Bob performed the ceremony, stopping for a selfie before they proceeded. Short and sweet vows were followed by a much anticipated first kiss, and these two were off to dance the night away with family and friends from across the continents.
This colorful country wedding was sure to steal hearts of all who were present.
A huge thanks to Lessie Blue Photography for stepping up when we needed her to second shoot! For more rustic country goodness, check out this Roy General Store Wedding.
