The Rustic Wedding of your Dreams is at Brookstom Creek

Driving through Buckley, you’d never know Brookstom Creek is hidden away there; the town seems to pass in the blink of an eye. Brookstom Creek is a sweet little gem just off the beaten path, filled to the brim with Rustic Charm.

Arriving at Brookstom Creek

You arrive at the venue and are greeted by a sprawling parking area. At the end stands the big white tent, the custom pergola and bar area. You back your car into a spot and head over to meet husband and wife team, Bob and Angie. They’re the wonderful owners at Brookstom Creek! As you explore the grounds, you’ll find beautiful projects that have been hand-built by Bob himself. I’ve been lucky enough to watch Brookstom Creek grow and blossom over the past two (almost three) years, which makes it hard deciding on my favorite recent upgrade.

A space for the Bride

Let’s start with the bridal suite; originally a mobile trailer, Brookstom Creek has upgraded to a beautiful bridal suite complete with in suite bathroom. This way the bride never has to leave the suite and risk getting seen by guests. Looking to the left as you enter, a giant mirror back a beautiful wooden bar top. The setup gives attendants the perfect place to freshen up their makeup and enjoy mimosas before your wedding. The floor to *almost* ceiling mirrors line the far wall of the suite, so you can see your gorgeous dress from every angle. The space boasts enough room for larger bridal parties, you can get your pre-wedding jitters out in style.

New addition: The Grooms Suite

The Grooms Suite is a new addition this year, and a sweet little spot for the guys to have a few beers and figure out how to tie those blasted bow ties. A much smaller room, it hosts a mini fridge, seating for up to 6 or 8 and an incredible view of the venue. However, the grooms suite is far enough away that you won’t be bothered by early arrivals… unless you wish to join them.

The Patio Pergola is my new favorite space

The patio pergola is the highlight of the venue. With a beautiful bar space, and accented by hanging Edison style lights, you can snuggle and dance your night away under the stars. Guests are welcome to enjoy the fresh night air away from the hustle and bustle of the dance floor. This is also the perfect way to welcome your guests into your wedding venue; with a drink and a treat!
