Bohemian Summer Wedding | The Orting Manor

I’m pretty sure we’re all in love with the boho vibes of recent wedding trends. I know I am. When my vendor/friend Lessie told me about the styled shoot she was planning at Orting Manor, I couldn’t believe my ears. It sounded truly dreamy. And when she asked me to participate in this Bohemian Summer Wedding shoot, I was over the moon!

The Orting Manor

I’ve always loved this beautiful Victorian Manor. I’m willing to bet, if you’ve headed down the main drag in Orting, you’ve probably passed it. Maybe without even noticing it. It sits right on the corner of Washington Avenue and Bridge Street, watching all the passerbys.

Having recently undergone an AMAZING renovation by the new owners, I hadn’t gotten a chance to step inside the manor before this shoot. I was blown away by how perfect their renovation was. They mixed modern and vintage elements; like the painted white fireplace in the sitting room, with the velvet armchairs and gold accents.

Florals, Cake and Detail Elements

Lessie spared no expense when she handpicked the details of this Bohemian Summer styled shoot. Brightly colored florals mixed with soft ribbons. Hand drawn sketches of the Manor and stamped wedding invitations. Beautiful gold accents and bronze accessories. Everything was carefully curated to create the perfect styled shoot.

Had I not known that Lessie was also a photographer, I’d have easily guessed she was a wedding designer/coordinator. She found some stellar vendors, including a few of my favorites! I jumped in when she needed a vintage styled auto, and can only take credit for finding the red truck.

Lessie chose two amazing models, Vo’Dou and Anthony. They were an absolute dream to work with. No surprise there really, because Lessie is an amazing soul. We had some pretty good laughs and when it came time for the cake, I was stoked to find that Vo’Dou loves cake as much as I do.

I’m so thankful that Lessie asked me to participate with her. It was a dreamy Bohemian Summer wedding shoot. I feel lucky to have made the wonderful connections over the past 11 years in the industry.
